Anix offers a combined measurement and interpretation service. We advise on what to measure and how, provide and install the sensors, and offer regular interpretation of the results, tailored specifically for each client.
Technology: Anix’s temperature and humidity sensors offer the best quality-price ratio on the market. They have been carefully selected by our experts to obtain precise and effective measurements for interpretation. The sensors transmit data over long distances and through walls.
Measurement: Anix measures any environmental agent that can affect historical materials. Our main focus is the measurement of humidity and temperature at various points using a networked sensor system.
Interpretation: Anix offers a pioneering interpretation service in our country. Our Annual Preventive Conservation Assessment (APCA) provides a detailed explanation of the collected data, including all environmental risks related to each collection, such as:
- Risk of corrosion
- Risk of chemical damage to organic and inorganic materials
- Risk of infestation or biocolonization
- Risk of mechanical damage to hygroscopic objects due to fluctuations
- Estimation of the lifespan of specific collections
Our interpretation is specific to each client and addresses the vulnerability of relevant materials. All our clients receive personalized attention in a one-hour video call to explain the Annual Assessment in detail. We also offer more advanced consulting services and the option to receive more frequent Assessments.
